In Ottawa, there are four main general purpose hospitals: the Civic Hospital located near downtown Ottawa, the Ottawa General Hospital located on the east end, the Ottawa Queensway Carleton Hospital on the west end, and finally, the Riverside Hospital in central Ottawa.
