About Us:
The Centre for Treatment of Sexual Abuse and Childhood Trauma was established in 1992 to provide individual, family and couples therapy for individuals who have been sexually abused or otherwise traumatized or stressed by life experiences.
Types of trauma can include:
- Physical, emotional or sexual abuse
- Separation or divorce
- Chronic or terminal illness
- Loss of employment
- Death in the family
- Accidents or injuries
- Substance abuse in the family
- Challenging life transitions
- Witnessing violence
- Any other experience that has been causing physical or emotional distress
Our therapists are trained to provide services in the following areas:
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders
- Dissociative disorders
- Grief and loss
- Relationship issues
- Addictions
- Self-injurious behaviours
- Eating disorders
- Gender issues
Therapy is provided for:
