Capital Day Care Centre Inc. About Capital Day Care Centre Inc: Capital Day Care Centre was founded in 1973, is licensed through the Ministry of Community Services, Ministry of Children's Services and is governed by a parent and staff Board of Directors. The centre has fifteen toddlers (18 months- 2.5 years) , twenty four preschoolers ( 2.5 - 5 years ), seven program staff, one cook, one permanent substitute, and one coordinator. Our hours of operation are from 7:30 to 5:30 daily, with closures for statutory holidays. Our cook prepares two snacks and a full meal based on Canada's Food Guide each day. The children are exposed to a wide variety of activities to promote cognitive, and physical development. We hope to engage them in positive interactions with their peers and the adults in the centre. We guide the children's development in both language and self-help skills. |
