Actions For Healthcare Website: http://www.actionsforhealthcare.com Our Vision We believe it is important to support health research through donations since there are insufficient funding from public and private sectors. Research is fundamental in finding new treatments, preventative measures and cures. We also strongly believe it is essential to know what the money is used for and how it benefits everyone of us. The public should know where and how their healthcare dollars are spent and why they should continue to donate money to fund health related initiatives and research. There are many innovative research projects designed to benefit Canadians and the public should know and understand their importance. Complicated political rhetoric is simplified and presented to the public through public speaking events. The same can and should be said for complex research methods and findings. Mission Statement Our main objectives are to disseminate the information gathered from health research back to the general public, provide opportunities for anyone to learn more about the innovative research done here in Ottawa and to promote interest in healthcare and healthy living.
